Measure to support grain corn producers in mitigating the impact of the 2019 rise in propane prices in Québec
The Measure to support grain corn producers in mitigating the impact of the 2019 rise in propane prices in Québec is meant to help reduce the repercussions on grain corn production of the rise in prices of propane used to dry grain corn. The period covered concerns grain corn not yet harvested by November 19, 2019, when Canadian National Railway employees went on strike.
Financial assistance is provided in the form of a maximum flat rate amount of $23.50 per hectare of eligible grain corn areas for up to $50,000 per farm business.
