To be eligible for this program, you or your business must:
- Operate a production site infected with PED, SDCV or Senecavirus A and be located in Québec;
- Have notified the EQSP, within at least 48 hours after receiving information from the attending veterinarian, that the site is infected with the virus;
- Be the owner of the livestock at the infected production site;
- Follow the instructions given by the EQSP aimed at controlling the duration of the infection and spread of the virus.
Note: It is the EQSP that will complete the registration and claim forms.
